Georgian phone number in international format consists of 12 digits. Of these, the first three digits are the country code +995. The next three digits for cellular operators determine the operator code.
For landline operators, the country code is followed by a two- or three-digit city code.
To dial a number within the country, the use of an international code is not necessary, a 9-digit subscriber number is sufficient.
Short numbers are also used in Georgia, for example emergency number 112.
